Cancellation&Refund Policy

      Unfortunately sometimes plans change - in such circumstances the following terms and charges apply:

1.If CHANGES are made to the event ( i.e Hotel location ) or services/programme advertised by the event provider, no refunds will be possible.We will do our best to provide suitable alternative hotel/services/ locations.In the event of an outright cancellation see (13) below.We will endeavour to place you in the rooms you select, however reserve to right to change these as circumstances dictate.

2.The deposit creates a binding contract, it is, in all events, NON refundable.It is however transferable (see (9)below)

3.The full balance will be due as advised. Please use the reference 21RET followed by your name/initials when using BACS.

4.If the participant or the person who has made the booking cancels:

5.If a booking is cancelled 10-9 weeks before start date a 50% charge on any payments made ( excluding the deposit see 3 above)to 21st Sanctuary applies.

6.If a booking is cancelled 8-7 weeks before start date a 75% charge on any payments made (excluding the deposit see 3 above)to 21st Sanctuary applies.

7.NO refund of any sums paid is possible if a booking is cancelled 6 weeks or less before the start date.

8.Refunds, if applicable, will only be made to the bank account used for the original transaction, unless agreed otherwise separately in writing.

9.In the event of a cancellation arising as above,it IS possible to transfer a booking to another person nominated by you But NOT to change the dates.

10.Transfer of bookings may be subject to an administration charge of not more than £15.00.

11.The full details of this person must be notified to us in writing as soon as possible so we may send out a Health form for completion . They then become liable for any monies still outstanding.

12.In all events of a transfer the outstanding fees will be due to 21stSanctuary. It is up to you to make sure you settle the finances between yourself and the nominee and that 21stSanctuary has received FULL payment.

13.If the event is CANCELLED before the start date through the fault of the event provider/ or third party services to provide :

14.100% of the monies paid to 21st Sanctuary, less any bank charges, will be refunded.We will endeavour to do this as quickly as possible given it may involve legal action against our supplier or making an insurance claim.

15.In no event will 21stSanctuary be liable for any accommodation, travel or other third party costs incurred by participants as a result of the cancelled event.

16.All guests must obtain valid travel/medical insurance and coverage for any eventuality on the yoga holidays.

17.If you choose to participate in an externally provided hazardous sport/excursion ( e.g but not limited to Paragliding: Quad biking etc ) please ensure your insurance will cover you.All 21stsanctuary instructors are covered by their own professional indemnity insurance. 21stsanctuary does not "lead" walking trips. If you wish to explore the local roads and tracks some may involve traversing unforeseen rocky terrain. If you choose to walk on the rougher/ rocky terrain, 21stsanctuary accepts no liability for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damage, injury, loss, accident occasioned by your voluntary participation on the rough/rocky terrain or any other road, track or trail encountered.

21st Sanctuary acts only as an agent for the suppliers of transportation to and from accommodations,( where applicable) ,and as agents for food and other goods and services provided to the retreat participant at locations where applicable : otherwise all travel and transportation is at your own expense.

18.Any arrangements for transport, accommodations and services are made upon the express condition that 21stSanctuary shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damage, injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity of any kind occasioned by reason of airline, train, hotel, restaurant, ground handler, etc. who supplies any goods or services for the retreat.

19.Without limiting the foregoing, 21stSanctuary is not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, quarantine, criminal activity, or for any other causes beyond its control. 21stSanctuary reserves the right to change the itinerary as required by unforeseen circumstances.

20.Yoga is founded on the principles of non-violence. It is our intention to create the safest, warmest & most peaceful environment possible. Aggressive, anti-social, hostile and disruptive behaviour, liable to cause distress to other participants, teachers or staff will not be tolerated.

21.As part of the yogic lifestyle we do not consume meat,so please do not bring/consume on the premises. Fish/seafood MAY be served,if you do not wish to east fish please let us know. If you have other dietary requirements please let us know well in advance so we can try to accommodate your needs.

22.The use of illegal drugs is unacceptable and invalidates the holiday/retreat contract.

We encourage non-smoking and request participants refrain from smoking/ bringing alcohol/cigarettes on the premises.
