21st Sanctuary has found its home. An old farm house built in 1849 nestled in 4.5 acres of wooded land providing an ultra discreet retreat venue not visible from the road.
You can fly into Bordeaux (all year round )or Bergerac (seasonal) and in just over 4 hours you can be relaxing by the pool or exploring the grounds or maybe getting ready to join a yoga class or learn about mindfulness meditation .
Initial refurbishment will be to bring to life the indoor yoga space and create some extra showers and toilets and once complete we will be able to sleep upto 8 people inside and more in glamping tents outside ifor the warmer season.
It is intended that this will operate as an air bnb experience initially. You can dip your toe in and experience just a long weekend or mid week stay at a Buddhist inspired retreat without being committed to full week.
Work will continue on developing this amazing venue, with more accommodation, workshop space, outdoor yoga shala, sauna, Japanese hot pool*.
The facilities provided will be unique and for groups who wish to use the facilities so will the terms of booking and reservation.
We work on honesty, trust and openness and the venue will be open on a B.I.R.O.S basis
1). By Invitation. You may receive a direct invitation to further your business plans arising from a chance meeting with the retreat owner at a festival, event or conference because your passion, drive, openness fits with our ethos. You just never know who you are talking to....
2) Recommendation Only.With only 6 degrees of separation this is a lot more likely than you think. Those who have already
qualified to access the retreat venue can recommend you as a trusted member of their tribe and by extension of ours too.
3) Selection.We would especially welcome applications from Mens groups and LGBTQ who seek to provide a nurturing and safe environment promoting mental health and well-being.
